| A homebuilder contacted Advantage to resolve the damage to a home due to a maniblock system leak. Water damage was observed in the utility room and common wall to the garage. Also water had seeped under the wood flooring in the master bathroom. Technicians cut out the sheetrock and found visible fungal growth. The area was sealed with plastic to serve as an emergency containment and an assessment was requested from a licensed assessor. The remediation protocol was written and Advantage conducted the remediation. A post-remediation test was conducted and clearance was achieved. The builder was able to start build back on the project within 48 hours. Advantage’s rapid response quickly assisted the builder representative by identifying the level of damage, building an emergency containment, and minimizing the exposure to the homeowner.
